Kathryn Marsh graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
While at the University of Arizona she interned with both the Pima County Public Defender's
Office and the US Attorney's Office in Tucson. Ms. Marsh began working for the State's
Attorney's Office in 1998 as a Victim/Witness Advocate in a partnership with the Crisis
Intervention Center. She became the Office's Victim/Witness Coordinator while attending law
school in the evenings at the University of Baltimore. Upon graduating with honors in 2002,
Ms. Marsh passed the bar exam and was sworn in as an Assistant State's Attorney. Ms. Marsh began
prosecuting juvenile cases and discovered an affinity with working with children. Over the
next several years she continued to prosecute all juvenile cases as well as many adult felonies
to include burglaries, white collar crime and Post Conviction cases while receiving specialized
training in Child Abuse and Sex Offenses. Ms. Marsh received a scholarship to attend the national
training Equal Justice for Children and Protecting Children Online. In addition, Ms. Marsh was
one of fifty prosecutors selected nationwide to attend the National District Attorney's Association
Childproof Course. In addition, she recently attended the Harvard Associates Homicide School. Ms.
Marsh now prosecutes the County's sex offenses and many of the child abuse cases.
