The Child Support Division of the State's Attorney's Office is supervised by Senior
Assistant State's Attorney Tammy L. Lafferty. Ms. Lafferty is a 1982 graduate of the
University of Maryland, College Park, and a 1987 graduate of the University of Baltimore.
Ms. Lafferty was in private practice for approximately 10 years and came to work with the
State's Attorney's Office in 1998. She started in the Juvenile Division and was transferred
to the Child Support Division in 1999. The Child Support Division handles over 4,000 cases
per year under her supervision.
